Financial Literacy Camp at Molnoi Village


Financial Literacy Camp cum Farmer's was held on Dated 8th June 2017 at PDP Hall in collaboration with SBI BSF Kangsang Branch with around 30 participants. The program was jointly conducted by Customer Service Point(CSP) Nungourok and Senior Sales Officer -Manipur Pay Point India Network Pvt. Ltd. on instruction of the Branch Manager - Angom Sanjiv Singh.
Shri. Rupachandra Singh-Deputy Manager SBI Kangsang Branch briefly delivered about the current digital payments systems and other available facilities for more awareness.

At the end, Shri. Khongpungson Hongsha, CSP-Nungourok SBI Kangsang Branch, also the Senior Sales Officer of Paypoint India Network Pvt. Ltd. gave aware on the different types of Bank Account, giving more emphasis on the PMJDY account, AEPS facilities, and precautions to be taken on fraud calls etc. for the gathered participants.

INDUSTRIAL ESTATES & LBI IN CHANDEL AND THOUBAL DISTRICTS INSPECTED BY MINISTER

Commerce and Industries Minister Shri Th. Biswajit Singh has inspected Industrial Estates and Livelihood Business Incubators in Chandel and Thoubal Districts today and said that solving the unemployment problem will surely help to restore peace in the State. Shri Biswajit inspected Chandel Salemthar Village Industrial Estate and Thoubal Kuraopaokpi Industrial Estate and also Livelihood Business Incubators of these two districts.
While inspecting the Thoubal Kuraopaokpi  Industrial Estate, the Minister stated that the main objective for establishing the Industrial Estate was to generate maximum number of employment and to encourage entreprenuers of the State. The government will open many units of the industrial estate for giving facilities of workshed to the interested entreprenuers. As a way to save power and also to preserve the eco-system, Roof Top Solar Plate will be installed to Thoubal Kuraopaokpi Industrial Estate. Most of the programmes being taken up by the government with the help of Centre is for bringing work culture particularly to the youths of the State.
MLA of Kakching Assembly Constituency, Y. Surchandra  who was with the Minister in the inspection of Thoubal Kuraopaokpi Industrial Estate told the construction of the industrial estate has already completed 90 per cent. The amount of the work is for 21 crores but six crores are yet to released. State share is only 80 lakhs. The MLA appealed for people's cooperation for successfull and smooth functioning of the Estate.
For workshed of Chandel Salemthar Village Industrial Estate, ground labelling is going on now. As the workshed is being constructing at the hill area, it's not easily accessible to the people and also  from the security point of view, shifting of the side of the Estate will discuss with the Chief Minister and the local MLA, Minister furthered. In pertain to the Livelihood Business Incubatrors (LBI), the Central Government aprroved to open nine LBI centres in Manipur. In the coming days, the State Government will arrange for imparting training to the concerned staffs for full functioning of Livelihood Business Incubatrors (LBI)Komlathabi. Thus, such steps of the government will help in restoring peace in the State,  the Minister added.

In a query from the media personnel, Shri Th. Biswajit responded that inspite of being the road from Pallel to Chandel is handled by the National Highway Infrastructure development Company Limited (NHIDCL), the Publlic Works Department will enterfere and held a meeting with the concerned authority for quality control repairing of the roads. And he also assured for renovation of the Pallel Bridge.
While coming back to Imphal, the Minister also inspected the District Industrial Centre (DIC) Thoubal and expressed dismay after seeing the condition of the centre
. In the inspection team, IFCD Minister Shri Letpao Haokip; MD, MANIDCO & MFICI; OSD, MSME/EDP/KVI; Technical consultant (MFICL); EE (MANIDCO) and Supervisor, Progress Asst. & VIO (MSME) accompanied with the Minister.

Manipur: Foundation Stones Laid for Industrial Estate, LBI, MSME Tech Centre.

Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Kalraj Mishra on Saturday laid the foundation stone for setting up of an Industrial Estate each in Ukhrul, Churachandpur and Chandel districts, Livelihood Business Incubation (LBI) in all nine districts and MSME Technology Centre at Food Park, Nilakuthi in Imphal East.

Laying the foundation stone at the expo hall of the ongoing 1st Manipur Industrial Expo at Lamboikhongnangkhong, Imphal West, the Union Minister in his speech said the Ministry of MSME has introduced several schemes to create employment and entrepreneurship in the country.
The Union Minister said that A Scheme for Promotion of Innovation, Rural Industry & Entrepreneurship (ASPIRE), Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industry Scheme (SFURTI) are of the ambitious schemes taken up by the Ministry.
The function was also attended by Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh as president; Union Minister of State, MSME Giriraj Singh as special guest; Commerce & Industries minister Govindas Konthoujam as chief host; Development commissioner MSME Surendranath Tripathi who is also the Additional Secretary, Government of India and DG of International Chamber for Service Centre Dr Gulshan Sharma.
Quoted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had said India cannot be fully developed without developing the North-east States, the Union Minister further assured that efforts will be made to establish cottage industries and boost different sectors in the nature blessed North-Eastern States.
He appealed to the people to make ‘’Make in India’’ and ‘’Make in Manipur’’ initiatives successfull. Addressing the gathering, CM Ibobi asserted that all round development and peace in the State will come only when the people work with firm commitment and determination.
Stating that it is impossible for any government to provide government jobs to all the people of their respective States, he said that the government is taking up works to develop the required infrastructures to provide self-employment to the unemployed youths of the State.
Emphasizing on the need for the State to produce own products to become self-reliant, the CM exhorted entrepreneurs of the State to ensure that their initiatives and ideas would benefit the people.
Minister of State Giriraj Singh and Minister Govindas Konthoujam also spoke on the occasion. During the function, certificates were distributed to 24 trainees from the State, who underwent training at Fragrance & Flavour Development Centre (FFDC), Kannauj.
